Tungsten for Darts

Tungsten for Darts

tungsten heavy alloy dart
As we know, the tungsten heavy alloy barrel forms the main part of a tungsten heavy alloy dart. Tungsten heavy alloy billet is now standard barrel material, for tungsten heavy alloy barrel has a specific gravity of 19.3(20), making it a very dense material. Smaller volume allows for better grouping. Moreover, tungsten heavy alloy barrel has superior wearing resistance, well machinability, etc.

Because it’s special properties, tungsten heavy alloy barrels for tungsten heavy alloy darts are quite difficult to be manufactured as 100% tungsten. Therefore, in fact, the “All- tungsten” darts in market are made of tungsten heavy alloy billet. Engineered for a greater weight to volume ratio, tungsten heavy alloy darts have a characteristically slimmer tungsten heavy alloy barrel. Due to these special properties of tungsten heavy alloy barrel, tungsten heavy alloy billet is now standard material applied in the making of tungsten heavy alloy darts to replace brass.

Today's standard material for tungsten heavy alloy barrel is tungsten heavy alloy, and tungsten heavy alloy barrels forms the main part of a dart (mainly used in sports). Tungsten heavy alloy barrel has a specific gravity of 19.3(20 ), so tungsten heavy alloy billet is a very dense material. For its special properties, nowadays tungsten heavy alloy billet is widely applied to make tungsten heavy alloy darts replacing brass. Because of technical difficulties with manufacturing, a 100% tungsten heavy alloy dart is not available. All "tungsten "heavy alloy darts you can buy are in fact made of tungsten heavy alloys.
