Tungsten Alloy Nail Fishing Sinker

Tungsten Alloy Nail Fishing Sinker

tungsten alloy nail fishing sinker
A popular approach to weighting down soft plastics has been the advent of small Nail Sinkers to add small amounts of weight internally to soft plastic lures. Tungsten alloy nail fishing sinker is thin, nail-like weights inserted into soft-plastic baits (jerk baits, sticks or finesse worm) and usind barbs to help keep them in place.

Tungsten sinker feature ridges to prevent them from slipping out of the plastic, which can be used to balance rigged jerk bait for a natural-looking fall. Weight down those soft plastics with our small tungsten sinker that stay in place thanks to the careful barbs while you fish. Our nail weights are made of tungsten, which is environmentally friendly material. Tungsten alloy nail fishing sinker is denser and harder than traditional lead weights.

Tungsten alloy nail fishing sinker advantage: high density with small capacity, nuisance free, strong wind resistace, International environment protection standard.

Tungsten Alloy Barrel Weight

Tungsten Alloy Barrel Weight

tungsten alloy barrel weight
High-density tungsten alloy barrel weight, is also called tungsten barrel weight is commonly used for fishing jigs and darts where there is a need of high mass in a limited space.

Tungsten barrel weight resembles a bullet. Cylindrical in shape, tungsten barrel weights are narrower at one end and widen out at the base.

It is difficult to find out what tungsten alloy barrel weight means in English, because both the weight for fishing and for darts are called tungsten alloy barrel weight. Besides, in Chinese, barrel means container used for stocking, but in the foreign countries, barrel is the object with barrel shape.

Why Adopting Tungsten?

Lead, steel and tungsten are the widely used materials for barrel weights, but tungsten alloy barrel weight is the most suitable material to be used for the high density and environmentally friendly properties.

The picture shows the three metals and the amount needed to reach the same weight. As you can see, it takes a lot less tungsten than steel for the same weight.

Here are the main advantages and disadvantages of the three metals:

Advantages
Disadvantages
Lead
  • Soft-easy to bend and cut
  • Low cost
  • Medium density
  • Take it away from children
  • Toxic
  • Only available in one form-1/4" cylinders
Steel
  • Low cost
  • Can be cut
  • Low density
  • Can rust
Tungsten
  • High density
  • Small volume more weight
  • High cost
  • difficult to shape

Tungsten Barrel Weight Advantage

Finished tungsten barrel weights are half size of lead weights at the same weight, so tungsten alloy barrel weight can go through the barriers more smoothly. It will not be easily be damaged by rocks. Tungsten alloy barrel weight is corrosion ressistant , can be used in any water, and also, tungsten barrel weight is enviromentally friendly.

Raw Material for Tungsten Alloy Worm Weights

Tungsten alloy worm weights, a kind of bullet fishing weights, are also called "tungsten heavy alloy worm weight". They provide ideal, environmentally friendly alternative to lead weights, as it is toxic and increasingly being labeled an environmental hazard. Tungsten alloy worm weights are harder than steel and extremely dense, tungsten is on average 30% smaller than its lead counterpart is. Tungsten alloy worm weights are smaller than conventional weights, create twice the sound of lead weights and maintain their shape for longer.

Tungsten Alloy Heavy Worm Weights from Chinatungsten

Tungsten heavy alloy worm weight is usually made from 95%W to 97%W and molded into a "flipping" style, and it is friendly to environment, so it is superior to lead weights. Due to the high grade of tungsten alloy, the profile is up to 60% smaller compared to lead weights, 10% smaller than the competing brand of tungsten alloy "worm" weights, making them very subtle in presentation. Chinatungsten worm weights are super sensitive, giving the angler the advantage of feeling every bite and underwater environmental changes, such as powder-coated black or green pumpkin for a durable finish.

Void of an insert, allowing the use of 80lb braid or 25lb fluorocarbon with ease, burr-free weights that give clients the ultimate confidence in line protection.

Tungsten alloy worm weights will be used with a fishing line, so there should be a very smooth through hole for the weight, Chinatungsten can offer quality tungsten alloys worm weights to protect the fishing line from breaking. We usually provide a plastic insert for the weight; you can find the following tungsten heavy alloy worm weight.

Beside, Chinatungsten can offer tungsten heavy alloy worm weight with different colors, such as black, red, green pumpkin, watermelon seed, chartreuse, etc. What is more, Chinatungsten can adjust the color according to the special requirements.

Shapes for Tungsten Alloy Fishing Jigs

Shapes for Tungsten Alloy Fishing Jigs

bell fishing sinker
Tungsten alloy fishing jigs are special type of tackle used to add weight to a line or lure. Anglers attach a sinker to draw bait down to depths where fish tend to congregate. Because the exact depth can vary by species, location and conditions, fishing enthusiasts often use a variety of sinkers to add different amounts of weight. The fishing sinkers were traditionally made of lead. However, lead is harmful to an enormous variety of wildlife, and lead fishing sinkers and other lead tackle contribute significantly to the risk. The shapes of lead fishing sinkers are as follows:

Bell Fishing Sinker

The bell fishing jigs  feature a bell-shaped design with a swiveling hook fastened to the top. These fishing sinkers cast well in the wind, making them a favorite for shore anglers. The rounded profile of the fishing sinkers also reduces its chance of snagging. For boat anglers, bell fishing sinkers are often used on a three-way rig. This rig is designed to get baits deep without needing any extra equipment, like downriggers. The rig consists of a three-way swivel with one eye for the main line. The next loop holds a drop line with a bell sinker at its end. Finally, the last loop holds a leader and a lure or a live bait rig. The rig is effective when bounced along the bottom or lowered to a desired depth and trolled in open water.

Split Shots

The split shot is a small ball of lead with a slit cut into one side. To use this type of sinker, simply wrap the slit in the ball around your line and clamp down on the metal to secure it to the line. Some split shots feature small handles on the opposite side of the opening, allowing them to be removed and reused. A clam shot is a variation of a split shot. It maintains a groove for holding line and is an oval shape, making it more snag resistant. Despite their popularity, split shots pose some serious health and environmental risks, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Loons and other wildlife often swallow abandoned split shots, and then suffer illness or death due to the lead content. When large numbers of these sinkers are abandoned, they may increase the lead content in a body of water, which may eventually affect the drinking water for area residents.

Walking Fishing Sinker

These fishing sinkers are the bread and butter of many live-bait, walleye fisherman. They resemble a rectangle with rounded, outside edges. The top features an eye for the line. The fishing sinker's bottom is slightly wider and larger in size than the top, holding more weight. The bottom is also slightly rounded and bent upwards. This weight distribution positions the sinker with its round edge on bottom, so it will easily glide over rocks, greatly reducing its changes of snagging on the bottom. The semi-flat design also prevents it from rolling along bottom in fast currents. These sinkers are often used to drag live bait rigs along the bottom, and are sometimes called a live bait rig. To tie the rig, first thread the sinker on the line with the bottom bend pointing to the line's tag end. Next, select a swivel large enough so it will not pass through the sinker's eye. Tie one end to your main line to the swivel. Then, you can add anything from a floating jig head, a plain hook, or a worm harness to complete the rig. This rig is not only snag-resistant, but it also allows line to slide through its eye when a fish picks up the bait. This latter feature prevents a fish from feeling weight. Yet, when an angler keeps a tight line on the rig, the swivel will stop at the sinker's opening, allowing the leader's length to remain consistent and in the strike zone.

Why We Use Tungsten Alloy Fishing Jigs?

Tungsten has gained a lot of popularity recently. Tungsten uses about 50% less space than lead for the same amount of weight. This means 1-ounce tungsten alloy fishing jigs have a smaller volume, letting it penetrate weeds easier. This makes your fishing more sensitive since dense material transmits vibrations differently depending on if you are fishing in mud, rock or wood.

Shapes of Tungsten Alloy Fishing Jigs

Shapes of tungsten alloy fishing jigs can be different and very much depend on the place you would like to fish. Generally, sea fishing jigs are heavier than river fishing jigs. We offer it in various shapes, bullet, drop, tube, semi-drop and cylinder and weights with option of polished edges to prevent the line from cutting. We also offer plastic inserted and painted tungsten fishing jigs. The product can be colored with black, brown, green, red and so on. We also offer plastic inserted and painted it. And the paint we use is environment-friendly lead-free paint, which meets the request of people who protect the environment and sustainable development of the Earth.

Tungsten Alloy Fishing Weights

Tungsten Alloy Fishing Weights

tungsten alloy fishing weights
Advantages of Tungsten Alloy Fishing Weights

1. Small volume and high weight

High density is making tungsten alloy fishing weights smaller than the conventional lead fishing weights. They will be hung up far less than a lead sinker because of their smaller size.

2. Hardness

Tungsten alloy fishing weights are harder than lead fishing weights. They will not be stuck in the jowl of the fish, so the shape will be maintained longer.

3. Strong wind resistance

As the high density of tungsten, tungsten alloy fishing weights make your fishing easier. They are heavy and dense enough to resist sudden wind blows. Moreover, they are extremely sensitive and can actually help you "feel" what the bottom is made of and what your bait is bumping into, such as brush, rocks, mud, etc.

Tungsten alloy fishing weights' eyes are an ideal, environment-friendly alternative to lead weights, which are toxic and increasingly being labeled an environmental hazard.

Tungsten Alloy Fishing Sinkers

Tungsten Alloy Fishing Sinkers

tungsten alloy fishing sinkers
What is Tungsten Alloy Fishing Sinkers?

Tungsten alloy fishing sinkers are weights used to force a lure or bait to increase its sink rate , anchoring ability, and casting distance. Tungsten alloy fishing sinkers may be as small as 1/32 of an ounce for applications, even smaller for fly-fishing applications. They can get as large as several pounds or considerably more for deep-sea fishing. They are formed into nearly innumerable shapes for diverse fishing applications. Unlike lead, environmental concerns do not surround the usage of tungsten alloy fishing weight materials.

A jig is a type of fishing lure that usually consist of a lead sinker with a hook molded into it and usually covered by a soft body to attract fish. However, recently, tungsten alloy fishing sinkers are becoming more and more popular among angles Tungsten alloy fishing sinkers with its high density, small volume, and environmental friendliness is quickly replacing lead weights. Jigs are intended to create a jerky, vertical motion, as opposed to spinner baits that move through the water horizontally. The jig is very versatile and can be used in both salt water as well as fresh water. Many species are attracted to the lure that has made it popular amongst anglers for years.

Tungsten alloy fishing sinkers are made by rare metal – tungsten. It is an ideal substitute of the lead fishing sinker. Tungsten heavy alloys concentrate maximum weight in the smallest possible space. They are often used as counterweight in sporting field, such as balancing, tungsten heavy alloy fishing sinkers, golf weights, etc.

Tungsten alloy fishing sinkers are an ideal, environmentally friendly alternative to lead weights, which are toxic and increasingly being labeled an environmental hazard. They are harder than steel and extremely dense, tungsten being on average 30 percent smaller than its lead counterpart is. Meanwhile, they are smaller than conventional weights, create twice the sound of lead weights and maintain their shape for longer. Tungsten is also used in the production of other fishing applications, such as tungsten-carbide line cutters and tungsten powder coating for fishing lines.

Tungsten Alloy Darts Selection

Tungsten Alloy Darts Selection

different dartsFirst of all, when it comes to choosing what weight and style of tungsten darts there isn't a wrong answer. The only thing to keep in mind is to not to spend a lot of money on your first set of tungsten darts. Ultimately, tungsten darts all comes down to what makes you feel most comfortable when you're at the line. Here are a few guidelines to review: Overview of dart types. There are many different darts to choose from: wooden darts, brass darts, nickel/silver darts and tungsten darts. Tungsten alloy is the best material to make into tungsten darts.

The most popular dart for dart league throwers is the tungsten dart because a high-density tungsten dart will resist wear and creates a smaller barrel that allows tighter groupings of tungsten darts. Brass and nickel/silver darts are cheaper and are made from softer metal darts meaning the knurling can wear down quickly from skin oils, friction and contact from other darts. When buying tungsten darts you should pay attention to the packaging because the percentage of tungsten is very important to the quality of the tungsten dart. The higher percentage of tungsten the tungsten dart is better and more expensive.   The main benefit of a high-quality tungsten dart is that the barrel will be smaller so you will be able to throw tighter groupings of tungsten darts, minimizing bounce outs. Try out the different Shafts. The main factors to consider when buying dart shafts, also known as tungsten dart stems, are length and weight. The important thing here is balance. You need to take care that your stems are not too long or too heavy relative to the length and weight of your dart barrels. The material the stems are made from is also worth considering. Plastic stems are the usual choice due to their relative cheapness and light weight. But it is worth trying aluminum shafts as these are lightweight but have the added advantage of extra rigidity; so they won't flex when you throw with them. One disadvantage is that they often work themselves loose. To overcome this simply adds a rubber O-ring to the threaded section of the shaft.

Try out the different dart barrel grips. Your next step is to try out different barrel grips that are available in the weight you have chosen. Some tungsten dart barrels have heavy knurling and others are smooth. Typically, the heavier the knurling the easier it is to grip the tungsten dart. However, extremely heavy knurling can cause tungsten darts to stick to your fingers and mess with your accuracy. For the typical dart player, there is more than one tungsten dart barrel that will work. Just make sure to choose the one feels the best and run with tungten dart.

Try out different flights. The main things to consider when looking for dart flights are shape and weight and rigidity. Flights come in many different shapes of tungsten dart and tungsten dart materials and, once again, the key is to pick the flights that balance your barrel and stems. If the flights are too heavy your tungsten darts will be unbalanced.

Tungsten Alloy Dart Billet Advantages

Tungsten Alloy Dart Billet Advantages

tungsten alloy dart billet
Tungsten is a very dense metal, also very durable. Use tungsten to make a dart barrel results in a smaller dart for the same weight. For anyone who plays darts often, the durability is important, as that helps retain the dart's precision-machined shape, grooves, and knurling.

Size is usually the first factor considered when choosing tungsten alloy dart billet. At about half the diameter of a similar weight brass dart, it is a lot easier to fit two or more tungsten darts into a double or triple area.

Think about the end of cricket games, where you need to hit several bulls to finish. An old-fashioned fat brass dart, the area is nearly covered by the first dart. Switching to a slim tungsten alloy dart billet easily allows two or three darts to fit in the same area. (Of course, you still have to be able to hit that bull!)

The advantage of tungsten dart barrel is you can achieve the same weight as a thick brass barrel, but the tungsten dart billet would be a lot slimmer. This would be a lot more beneficial to a competent dart player as this leaves a lot more room in the treble bed when tungsten alloy dart billets are grouped closely together, making scoring easier. Tungsten alloy dart billet has a definitive advantage over traditional brass. In addition to less deflection, they are being produced with great knurling patterns on the barrels. These provide a confident grip with less potential for slipping. Tungsten dart billets come in a variety of both steel tip and soft tip sets.

Tungsten dart billet come in a variety of weights from about 16 grams up to around 30 grams. It is important when choosing a set of tungsten dart billet that you get the opportunity to try out as many as possible before deciding on a set. The main thing is you feel comfortable when throwing them. Once you find those perfect darts, it may be an idea to purchase an additional identical set just in case they get lost or stolen. If your game does go a little stale or you are striving for improvement, do not be afraid to change your darts. Tungsten dart billet offered by us are highest quality products and will serve you well for a long time.

Steel Tip Tungsten Alloy Darts

Steel Tip Tungsten Alloy Darts

steel tip tungsten darts
For Steel tip tungsten darts, you have two options,fixed-point or moveable-point. Fixed-point: This is where the point is solidly fixed into the tungsten dart, steel tip tungsten dart does not move. This is the most common type of steel tip tungsten dart you will see.

Moveable-point: Guess what, these point's move! There are a number of different varieties on the market, but the theme behind the steel tip tungsten dart all is the same, "Help decrease the chance for a bounce-out". When you throw the steel tip tungsten dart, you want the point to be fully extended. The hope is that if you hit a wire, the back-end (or barrel) will then move forward and force the point into the boards as opposed to letting the tungsten dart bounce off the wire and fall to the floor. Tungsten dart offered by us is qualified.

We are a professional steel tip tungsten dart manufacturer and steel tip tungsten dart supplier. Our steel tip tungsten darts are always highest quality product. We can provide all kinds of steel tip tungsten dart in strict accordance with your requirements.

Tungsten products

Tungsten products

tungsten products
Tungsten was discovered in 1781 by the Swedish chemist, Karl Wilhelm Scheele. Tungsten is both the most abundant of the refractory metals, and has the highest melting point of all metals, at 3,410 °C (6,170 °F). Tungsten wire filaments provide the vast majority of household incandescent lighting, but are also common in industrial lighting as electrodes in arc lamps. Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW, also known as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding) equipment uses a permanent, non-melting tungsten electrode. The most common use for tungsten is as the compound tungsten carbide in drill bits, machining and cutting tools. It also finds itself serving as a lubricant, antioxidant, in nozzles and bushings, as a protective coating and in many other ways. Tungsten can be found in printing inks, x-ray screens, photographic chemicals, in the processing of petroleum products, and flame proofing of textiles. Tungsten is also used by virtue of its strength and density, in applications ranging from weights in helicopter rotors and weapon projectiles to the heads of golf clubs. The largest reserves of tungsten are in China, with deposits in Korea, Bolivia, Australia, and other countries.

The main tungsten products include tungsten concentrate, ferrotungsten, APT, deep-processed tungsten products, tungsten bar, tungsten wire filament and so on.
