Dart barrel compatibility standards
The compatibility of the dart barrel means you can replace the dart shaft by another dart shaft products by different companies to connection on the barrel.
The dart barrel can be used in both steel tip dart and soft tip dart.
The "classic" steel tip darts have solid
attached tips, that means they can not
be used for the soft tip darts. The typical steel tip darts have fixed tip on one
side and thread for fixed flight on the other side.
Soft tip darts have threads both of two sides. One side is used for fixed plastic tip, and the other side is used for fixed shaft. If you replace the plastic tip to the steel tip, the barrel can be used in steel tip dart. These replacement tips have a variety of shapes.
